We've said it before and we'll say it again - being an adult is stressful. Trying to manage and maintain your professional work life, home life, relationships, social life can seem a bit overwhelming at times. If you read our post about how to cope with stress, you'll know that here at BTW we are dedicated to making your lives less stressful.
Today, we're sharing some of our favorite tips on how to reduce stress during the week. Self-care is so important to us here and a lot of times, being prepared can drastically reduce stress, therefore making your life a lot more manageable. The following tips will ensure you get through the week as blissfully as possible, keep reading!
Sunday Spa Day
Here at BTW, we like to give ourselves a little spa day on Sunday evening. Take a long, hot shower, use our dry brush brush, do a hair and face mask, and paint our nails. This is not only relaxing, but it'll help you look and feel your best come Monday morning.
Another tip we swear by is meal prepping. Meal prepping on Sundays will not only save you time and money, but it'll make it easier to control what you're eating throughout the week. Crockpots and baking things on the same baking sheet really save on time cleaning up too, which means more time for you to relax!
Make a List
We've talked about making lists before and how writing everything down is a major key. If you read our post on 'apps that help productivity,' you'll know that our go-to to-do lists are the 'notes' section in our phone or the app called TickTick. By making a list, you're more able to prioritize your tasks from the most important to the least and can cross them off as you complete them.
Plan out your Workouts
Here at BTW, taking time to workout is very important! Working out not only helps with your physical help, but also your mental! By planning your workouts ahead of time, you can coordinate your work and meal schedule so that you're 100% prepared and make sure you fit everything that's important to you into your day.
Lay out your Clothes the Night Before
We love our sleep, so by planning out your outfit the night before, you're able to snooze for that extra 5 minutes in the morning. If you're someone that doesn't have a uniform, trying to figure out what to wear (especially if you're running late!) can be a stressful process. Do yourself a favor and get everything ready the night before so mornings are a no-brainer!
