With how busy we are, things can become a little hectic. However, there are so many ways you can prepare yourself for these crazy times to ensure that you'll tackle each task just fine. BTW has come up with a few different things you can do that your future self will thank you for. Keep reading!
De-clutter Your Space
First things first - de-clutter. You've maybe heard the saying 'a cluttered space is a cluttered mind' and we couldn't agree more. When you find yourself with a little bit of down time, try to de-clutter your space. Getting started is the hardest part, so once you set your mind to it, grab a trash bag and start purging! Take the time to organize your things and take any items you don't want to a donation center. Having a clean and organized space will help you to focus better and think more clearly.
Whether you're in a creative field or not, surrounding yourself with people and things that inspire you will give you that added fuel you need to stay productive. When you're productive and happy, your work space will be more enjoyable to be in. For me, I'm always on Pinterest finding new ways that I can be efficient or look for new places to travel, which keeps me motivated at work!
Write Everything Down
We've said it before and we'll say it again - write everything down! Here at BTW we couldn't stress it enough. If this doesn't come naturally to you, it might be something to work on, but trust us, it's worth it! Whether on paper or on your phone, it's a great way to keep track of ideas or tasks. We write everything down from passwords, important dates, your to-do list, and everything in between.
Try not to put off your daunting tasks for too long. A lot of the times we find ourselves procrastinating not because the task will actually take a long time, but mostly because we just don't want to do it. In the end, the thing you don't want to do most might end up taking less time than you think, and you'll be so glad you got it done!
